The Farm houses have many features like an area of cultivated fields and produce fresh milk and eggs for a healthy and nutritious meal.
Tea gardens has lush green forest surrounding that making your stay peaceful and relaxing in the natural atmosphere guaranteed a nice breakaway from the busy commercial life. You have chance to get together with local community and familiar with their lifestyle.
Tour program goes as under:
Day 01: Arrival Bagdogra – Kurseong (40 KM-1.5 Hrs)
Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, Meet & greet with our representative and drive to Kurseong “Land of white orchids”. Kurseong is a hill station in West Bengal close to Darjeeling “world famous hill station”.
Upon arrived at Kurseong check in at local Tea Garden Estates homes. PM visits oldest tea garden was established in 1859. The corn field becomes in Tea Garden that’s why we called Makaibari Tea Garden.
Three rivers flow from this tea garden estates and fall in Main River called Balason in this region. Here you can find different colour of tea type like Green, White and Black.
Here we have option to stay in local villagers home and stay as a guest of one family. You feel like one of family member. Dinner and Overnight stay at Tea Garden.
Day 02: Kurseong – Darjeeling (30 KM-1.5 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast we leave Kurseong and drive towards our next destination Darjeeling “India top travel hill destination”.
Upon arrival check in at hotel/resorts or we have option to stay at Tea Garden estates like Happy Valley Tea Garden or Glenburn Tea Estates.
Later visit local Tea Garden surroundings with tourist interest places like Monastery, Museum and National park. Dinner and overnights stay at hotel/Resorts or Local Tea Garden Estates.
Day 03: Darjeeling – Rinchenpong (60 KM-03 Hrs)
Today after breakfast we have to leave Darjeeling and proceed towards Rinchenpong located in West Sikkim area. It is famous for Monastery and Trekking routes.
We drive through groves of bamboo to a beautiful rustic heritage farmhouse called Yangsum Heritage Farm. This was built in 1833 and refurnished in 1966. This excellent property is run by a couple Mr. Tashi and his wife, who manage the 44-acre mountain farm which consists of open mixed forest of pine, alder, schima, chestnut, magnolia, rhododendrons and cherry.
Later visit this beautiful Farmhouse. Dinner and overnights stay at hotel.
Day 04: Rinchenpong – Ravangla (35 KM-1.5 Hrs)
Morning we must finished our breakfast early. Later leave Rinchenpong drive towards Ravangla “A small hill station in South Sikkim”.
Upon arrived in Ravangla check in at Bon Farmhouse “a typical village farm house”. We can enjoy the comforts of a homely environment the best part being all meals prepared from freshly grown organic vegetables from the nearby fields.
Later explore the Farm House has an area of four acres of cultivated fields, tea gardens and six acres of lush green cardamom forest that making your stay peaceful and relaxing in the natural atmosphere guaranteed a nice breakaway from the busy commercial life. Dinner at farmhouse and overnights stay at here.
Day 05: Ravangla
Morning we go for an excursion to Trout Valley for Traditional style of Angling and Picnic party in the shore of the Ranjit River. On the way we can do nature walk and Bird Watching.
Later we visit some interesting monastery and beautiful park. Back to Farm house and we ready for a special hot stone Herbal bath believed to heal body ache and rejuvenate your mind and soul. We take special dinner serves various Sikkim’s cuisines which are prepared from fully organic vegetables cultivated in the farm premises. Overnights stay at here.
Day 06: Ravangla – Bongaigaon (350 KM-07 Hrs)
Morning we leave Ravangla for drive towards Bongaigaon “Beautiful city of Assam”. PM arrived check in at the hotel. Evening we can visit local shops and street. Dinner and overnights stay at hotel.
Day 07: Bongaigaon
Morning after breakfast full day visit Bageshwari Temple, Kachugaon Game Reserve forest, Roumari Dam and Rock Cut caves etc. Relax for the day. Dinner and overnights stay at hotel.
Day 08: Bongaigaon – Guwahati (185 KM-04 Hrs)
Morning leave Bongaigaon and drive towards Guwahati “Reclining city beside the Brahmaputra River in the northeast Indian state of Assam”.
Upon arrival at Guwahati check in at the hotel. PM visits the Kamakhya Temple, featuring shrines to the Hindu deities Shiva and Vishnu, Umananda Islands, Botanical Garden and Museum etc. Dinner and overnights at hotel.
Day 09: Guwahati – Tezpur (185 KM-04 Hrs)
Today we leave Guwahati and proceed towards Tezpur “Famous tea garden city in Assam”.
Arrived Tezpur check in at Tea garden estate or hotel. Later visit some famous tea garden like Durrung Tea Garden, Sonabheel Tea Estates and Wild Mahseer “Wild Mahseer is a unique heritage stay for visitors to experience mind full tourism while living within the biodiverse haven”. Dinner and overnights at hotel or resorts.
Day 10: Tezpur – Jorhat (165 KM-04 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast we will leave Tezpur for drive to Jorhat “Administrative district of Assam situated in the central part of the Brahmaputra Valley”.
Upon arrived Jorhat check in at Heritage bungalow Banyan Grove. The bungalow exhibits a colonial decor with carpets and sylvan flooring.
PM visit local Tea Garden Estates and research centre like Gatoonga tea Estates, Muktabari tea Garden and Tea research association. Evening relax at your Bungalow. Dinner and overnights stay at hotel.
Day 11: Jorhat – Majuli (45 KM-02 Hrs)
Morning leave Jorhat and drive towards Majuli “Famous river island in Brahmaputra river”. Majuli Island is accessible by ferries from the city of Jorhat.
Upon arrival at river ghats (Closest bank to Brahmaputra on Jorhat side). Take a Ferry to Majuli. After approximately one and half hours we will arrive at Majuli Island (Majuli has been the cultural capital and the cradle of Assamese civilization for the past five hundred years).
Upon arrival check in the Dekasang “eco-friendly resort” provides a fabulous retreat with all the basic facilities, especially with the Luit River, a tributary of River Brahmaputra that flows outside the resort gives a soothing experience.
PM explore Majuli like Kamalabari Satra, Dakhinpat Satra and local villages like Salmara Village to show the Art of Pottery Making (Pottery in Majuli is probably the single most important heritage of all.
Later visit Dhapak Village of the Mishying Tribes. They belong to originally from the Adi tribes of the Abor hills of Arunachal. Evening returns to hotel. Dinner and overnights at resorts.
Day 12: Majuli – Siiro (150 KM-05 Hrs)
Today we drive towards Siiro “a beautiful small valley village in Arunachal Pradesh”. It’s a safe sustainable village with people living in harmony with nature. Upon arrival in Siiro Valley check in at Home stay in Village. Rest day free for relax. Dinner and overnights at home stay.
Day 13: Siiro
Today when you wake up in the morning with fresh mind, feeling awesome, how it’s nature totally different from any other places in India. Lovely people, new language and bumpy roads ride and sunset early around 04:30 PM.
Now we can explore different activity like village tour by bicycle, taste the local Kiwi wine, trekking experience with local people and participate in local dance performance etc. Evening back to village home stays.
Day 14: Siiro– Dibrugarh (250 KM-06 Hrs)
Today we drive to Dibrugarh known as the Tea city of India. PM arrived at Dibrugarh check in at Heritage Tea Bungalow. Later we proceed to the Singpho village for meet local tribe and organic tea garden. Dinner and overnights stay at hotel.
Day 15: Dibrugarh – Shiyong (130 KM-05 Hrs)
Morning proceed on a tour of a Heritage Tea Garden to see how it is grown and its culture .In tea factory we can observe the full process of manufacturing of these special tea.
Later we drive towards Shiyong “Oldest living tribal village in the world”. When you arrived at Shiyong, explore life of Local Konyak Tribe, traditional crafts, stories about their history, old customs while you relax in the untouched organic tea gardens and surrounding lush greenery.
Check in at The Konyak Tea Retreat homes. Later we proceed on a tour of Tea Garden and farmhouse. Learn how to pick tea at the family owned tea estate and local tribal participate in planting trees, flowers, vegetables and plants around the farmhouse and the tea estate and you can participate and work alongside the locals in their rice paddy fields.
You have also option to go for hikes in the waterfalls and forests. Dinner and overnights stay at Tea house.
Day 16: Shiyong
Morning after breakfast we go for a thrilling Walk through the hillsides enjoying the spectacular scenery of the surrounding of nearby waterfalls and forests.
Later we communicate with local farmers enjoy work at their fields and share lunch with them. Evening tastes the local sipping home brewed rice beer and sits by the bonfire and soaks in the experience at the farmhouse. Dinner and overnights at the Tea retreat.
Day 17: Shiyong – Mokokchung (124 KM-05 Hrs)
After late breakfast we drive towards Mokokchung “’Land of Pioneers”. This is an ideal place for those who are looking for a nature trip and relax away from the hustle bustle of the city life.
PM arrived at Mokokchung, check in at local hotel. Day free at relax and evening walk to local shops. Dinner and overnights stay at hotel.
Day 18: Mokokchung
Morning we go for an excursion to local villages like Longkhum, Ungma and Chuchuyimlang. These villages are famous for ethnic handlooms and handicrafts, living museum of the traditions of the tribe and festivals where the villagers exchanging gifts, making new friendships, renewing old ties and sharing a spirit of camaraderie.
Later visit Langpangkong Caves situated between the valleys of Dikhu and Tzula Rivers. Local’s tribe believed that the caves provided shelter to an Ahom King. Now we return to our hotel in city. Dinner and overnights at hotel.
Day 19: Mokokchung – Kohima (150 KM-05 Hrs)
After breakfast we complete the checkout process and drive towards Kohima “the hilly capital city of India’s north eastern state of Nagaland”. The sharp peaks, the tearing clouds and the misty wind creates it a memorable delight for any tourist visiting this place.
PM arrived at Kohima; check in at Razhu Pru, a heritage home stay in Kohima. It still continues not only to retain its charm but also bears the scars of the times gone by giving the hotel its unique characteristics. Evening we walk to the local shops. Dinner and overnight stay at home stay.
Day 20: Kohima
After breakfast we go for sightseeing of famous tourist places like Bara Basti, Dzoku Valley, Dzulekie, Intangki Wildlife Sanctuary and Khonoma village etc. Rest day free for relax. Dinner and overnights stay at hotel.
Day 21: Kohima – Nagaon (240 KM-06 Hrs)
Today morning leave Kohima and drive to Nagaon “beautiful place called Rice Bowl and famous for Kaziranga National Park”.
PM arrived at Nagaon and check in at Jasingfaa Aqua Tourism Resort.
Later visit famous Kaziranga National Park conserve the one-horn rhinoceros and many other threatened and endangered species. Evening we returned to the resort. Dinner and overnights stay at resort.
Day 22: Nagaon – Umsning (150 KM-04 Hrs)
Morning we visit Pokhi Tirtha and Silghat. Pokhi Tirtha: You can see here thousands of migratory birds coming from all across the world especially during the winters. Silghat: Another famous place who still preserves many ancient temples and has a river port lying along the Brahmaputra River.
Later we drive towards Umsning “Famous tea garden in Meghalaya”. PM arrivals check in at Tea Garden Estates. Rest day free at relax in Tea Garden Bungalow. Dinner and overnights stay at Tea Estates.
Day 23: Umsning –Shillong (50 KM-02 Hrs)
Morning visit Umiam lake “Fresh Water Lake gives panoramic views during Sun rise”.
Later we drive to Shillong “beautiful hill station and capital of Meghalaya’. Check in at Orchid Annex hotel.
PM visits Elephant waterfalls, Museum, View Point and All Saints Church etc. Dinner and overnights at hotel.
Day 24: Shillong Depart
Today you will go for airport to connect your flight for your destination. It was wonderful to travel with us and wait for again for your next trip at our place.

Note: In Local home stay you can’t compare facility with hotel, resorts and tea estates bungalow in your tour program. Local villagers are running these home stay that help them to exist their families and support to funding welfare program for local tribal and community therefore we need to co-operate them and stay as a family member.

- Kindly note that tour cost based on normal rates. In case any nights fall in Supplement period we will be revise the tour cost.
- Even the hotels of similar category are not equally priced. Therefore while booking alternative hotels if there is a difference in price the same will be charged as supplement. However, we will absorb marginal difference.
